A ten day course in a ten millilitre tube, with a cooling metal tip you roll over the injection site, built for the days right after filler.

What is Alastin INhance Post-Injection Serum?

INhance is a small format serum Alastin makes to sit alongside injectable treatments. In Alastin's words it is "designed to complement injectable treatments like dermal fillers, formulated with ChromaFADE Technology to help improve the appearance of skin post-injection." It carries the same TriHex Technology as the full size serums. Four applications a day, until the tube is empty.

What is in it

ChromaFADE Technology is what separates this from the rest of the line. Alastin says it "helps accelerate recovery from injectable treatments and enhances the overall appearance of skin", and marks that claim "Data on file at ALASTIN Skincare".

Ledum, or marsh tea, with Arnica Montana extract "calms the skin and reduces appearance of redness and swelling", in Alastin's wording. TriHex Technology supports the skin's natural production of new, healthy elastin and collagen.

Alastin INhance reviews

Alastin's claim for the arnica and ledum is redness and swelling. Bruising is not a claim Alastin makes. It is what buyers keep telling us about, so here is what they say rather than what we would claim.

• Bruising is the reason people repurchase. "I noticed a decrease in bruising in 1 day." "This worked great on injection site bruising." One buyer reports it working on everyday bruises too.
• One reviewer got a better result starting before her appointment. Used only afterwards the first time, she bruised heavily. The second round she began almost a week beforehand: "I had hardly any bruising." That is her experience, not Alastin's instruction, which is to start after. Ask your injector first.
• One tube covers one round. The same buyer got a week before and four to five days after out of one tube.
• The cooling tip gets noticed. Buyers elsewhere call it "cooling and soothing".
• Expensive for the size, and people buy it anyway. One reviewer weighs it against drugstore arnica gel and stays with this one.

Who INhance suits

Anyone with filler, injectables or RF microneedling booked. It is the cheapest way to try TriHex before a full size bottle, so if you are working out where to start in Alastin, this is the low risk door. For skin being prepared ahead of a treatment rather than settled after one, that is Regenerating Skin Nectar. For the everyday serum once recovery is done, Alastin Restorative Skin Complex.
