The nectar Alastin is known for, and the one most people start with. It is water-free and preservative-free, which is why it can go on skin straight after a treatment without stinging.

What is Alastin Regenerating Skin Nectar?

Alastin Regenerating Skin Nectar is a lightweight treatment serum built to prepare skin before professional treatments like lasers, microneedling and peels, then calm it afterwards. Alastin's own words are that it is "designed to precondition skin and visibly optimize skin-rejuvenating treatments". One pump, twice a day.

What the nectar does

TriHex Technology helps clear away old, damaged collagen and elastin and supports the skin's natural production of new, healthy elastin and collagen.
Arnica montana extract provides a calming effect.
Naringenin with panthenyl triacetate is an antioxidant blend that visibly soothes, reduces redness and improves skin barrier function.

The water-free, preservative-free base is the part buyers tend to miss. It is what lets the nectar sit on skin that has just been treated, and it is why the texture absorbs without leaving anything greasy behind.

Alastin Regenerating Skin Nectar reviews: what buyers report

• Most people arrive on a recommendation. Four reviewers here name the person who sent them: a dermatologist, a cosmetic surgeon, another dermatologist, a med spa.
• It gets reordered. One buyer is on her third bottle and calls it light and comfortable on the skin. Another switched a ten year habit of a different line over to it.
• Treatment recovery is the recurring use. Buyers describe using it around lasers, microneedling and resurfacing, both before and after.
• It is not a wrinkle product, and one reviewer found that out the hard way. A two star review liked how it felt but expected wrinkle change. Alastin does not claim it. Read the FAQ before you buy.
• The price comes up a lot. Five reviewers call it expensive. Three of those five still call it worth it.

Who Regenerating Skin Nectar suits

Anyone booked in for a laser, microneedling or peel appointment, and anyone who wants the calmest thing in the Alastin line to sit under the rest of a routine. If what you actually want is texture, tone and fine line work rather than treatment support, Alastin Restorative Skin Complex is the one to compare it against.
