Alastin's eye cream works on two clocks at once. Cross-polymer microspheres diffuse light the moment it goes on, so the eye area looks brighter before you leave the bathroom. Underneath that, TriHex Technology works on the elastin and collagen in skin that thins earlier than anywhere else on the face. Alastin now sells this as the Restorative Eye Complex. It was the Restorative Eye Treatment, and the formula has not changed.

Product Details

TriHex Technology is a blend of peptides and botanicals that helps clear out damaged elastin and collagen and supports the skin's own production of new, healthy elastin and collagen. Around the eye, that matters more than it does elsewhere, since this is the first skin on the face to lose firmness.

Dark circles get two ingredients rather than one. Green tea and oak leaf tea extracts work on the shadowing. Niacinamide and tetrapeptide-30 brighten and even out tone across the whole eye area. Mimosa tree extract and darutoside work on the look of firmness.

The cross-polymer is the part most eye creams skip. It is a polymer microsphere that diffuses light on contact, so there is something to see on day one rather than only at week six.

It ships in an airless pump. No dip tube, no air getting to the formula, and a measured dose every time, which is what a peptide product needs.
