What it is:
L’Eau Papier by Diptyque is a soft, musky floral fragrance that captures the quiet intimacy of imagination taking form. Anchored by the creamy depth of white musks, it weaves in the delicate warmth of rice steam, the radiance of Grasse mimosa, and a light, textural blonde woods accord — evoking the feel of ink absorbing into paper.

Fragrance story:
L’Eau Papier is a poetic tribute to creativity in motion — that moment when hand, ink, and paper merge to give shape to thoughts. Just as ink saturates paper and reveals hidden shadows and textures, this fragrance explores the evolving character of white musk. The rice steam accord mirrors the soft grain of paper, while sunny mimosa and blonde woods root the scent in both inspiration and materiality.
It is a gentle cocoon — a whisper of scent that invites reflection, imagination, and expression.
